"I was given great opportunities to learn and truly understand the ins and outs of the corporate financial industry. I worked under a CPA who also guided me in the tax operations preparing me for such a role in the future. Furthermore, this internship was in North Carolina, which one could imagine, was 1000 miles away from home (Dallas). This not only put me outside of my comfort zone, but also built my communication skills.
