"The people are great! I also love the fact that we get to truly help people."

"There are more opportunities at corporate than there are in the local markets so chose your location very wisely."

What don't you like about working at Humana?

"I am not rewarded for being strategic and do not fell that my individual performance is valued. I am not treated as an individual contributor, rather I am represented by sales numbers."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would choose leaders who know how to lead vs. mangers who barely know how to manage. I would encourage collaboration and teamwork, as well as progressive work environments."

"Enjoy the type of sales. Really performing a service for the client."

"Selling is a profession! Devote yourself to becoming a sales professional."

What don't you like about working at Humana?

"Insurance companies are very good at money, but not that strong in sales and marketing. This position - company hadn't even developed a value proposition for what they were putting on the street. But, couldn't understand why sales lagged."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Learn sales, train sales agents on sales fundamentals as well as technical aspects of their products. Develop a 30 second elevator presentatopn that describes the value proposition, and differentiates the company and its products."
