"I love what I do, but the organization is slowly taking the joy out of being a nurse."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Dont' believe everything you're told! Get it in writing and amke sure they sign the contract! Ask how long the manager has been with the company. There has been extensive middle management turnover within Hudson Hospital."

What don't you like about working at Hudson Hospital & Clinics?

"The inequality of how work loads are assigned. Being a union facility has not benefited everyone. Those employees who work hard for their pay are often taken advantage of and not compensated for their efforts."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"There needs to be a way to balance the positive aspects of a union with the needs of acknowledgement for work efforts for those who go the extra mile for the patient and company."

"Hudson Hospital is a newer hospital with a nice set-up. The employees are great to work with. It has a laid back, easy going feel."

"It is always best to be yourself. You are the one who will be working with the healthcare team and a honest presentation is best."

What don't you like about working at Hudson Hospital & Clinics?

"There is little growth opportunities due to it being a smaller hospital. There is no mental health or pediatric area - these are two areas that are of great interest to me."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management should be a little more approachable and available."
