"HSBC Is great when dealing with fellow employees and immediate management. But the inside joke is the companies initials stand for How Simple Became Complex. Everything from requesting systems or making required local adjustments to regulatory requirements requires input from offshore. Job stability is problematic as Global also goes out of its way to move tasks and positions to lower paid staff offshore."
"I’m looking for a remote based opportunity"
"I worked for HSBC for 24 years. They gather individuals that work well together and have a wealth of knowledge that complement each other. I enjoyed working with management and my peers. Teams would brainstorm over issues that were critical to get everything back up and running smoothly. I would definitely work here again."
"I love being the business investigator - I get to do alot of thing here like research about the market growth and trends, analyze work flows, come up with some automated solutions, providing interactive stories and dashboards to monitor the status and communicate the standings to all the stakeholders who can hit their targets and get maximum profitable returns."

"I was work in HSBC China as a senior software engineer focus on Google Cloud Platform last year. Before this job, I just have experience with the AWS. The HSBC Financial crime department uses machine learning to find financial crime action. All the machine learning models deployed in the Kubernetes engine host by GCP. So I got a chance to learn another new cloud platform. There are more than 200 engineers in this department, 5-10 people make a group, and one manager leads a group to finish the project."
"I worked for HSBC Technology and Services for almost 15 years. During this time, I held a variety of delivery roles, from Account Manager to Project Manager, to Product Manager eventually heading up all delivery across the globe for my department. Senior Management changed frequently and was often disconnected from reality."
"I have worked at the Research department and unfortunately the group is led by managers that lack leadership and mentoring skills."
