"I did not like the hours. Having to work almost every week-end interfeared with church and volunteer work that I do with other organizations."

"My suggestion for management would be to talk with your employees and understand their wants and needs. This will help you have a more productive staff if you can realize ther goals and work together to achieve the end results."

"I enjoyed working for Household International prior to their being bought out by HSBC. With HSBC you were just a number. Household International was like being part of a large family."

"The structure and rigidness was different from working in transportation. Policy and compliance was very strict but adhered to from the field level up through management."

"Yes, be aggressive, assertive, and show an interest and willingness to the local branch manager and you should be able to advance your interview process."

What don't you like about working at HSBC?

"Policies and decision were made at such a high corporate level that sometimes they could have taken more risk on educated or low risk opportunities that could have been very profitable."

"Have a small percentage where the local manager had some wiggle room on loan or approval decisions."
