"The challenge is bringing innovation and leadership to a small $3.5 mil. company. Additionally, this Engineering, Sales and manufacturing company was in motorsports with an emphasis on CNC machining."

"A enthusiasm for Motorsports combined with a background in CNC machinery will be a strong fit in the manufacturing area. Race team background and motorsports knowledge are key areas for sales representatives."
What don't you like about working at RCD Engineering?
"professionalism and change were a key ingredients to my managerial duties and goals. During a 2 1/2+ yrs. period, flexibility, patience and diplomacy were as practical as decisiveness, teamwork or other business oriented skills, analysis, finance, reporting, etc."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The advancement of key personnel to supervisory levels was established, but not groomed. There remains a necessity to drive for excellence in communication, leadership and personal initiative for the company to succeed around these new leaders."

"Make sure you can handle the hours and all the physical labor that goes with it."

"Every two weeks we change shifts and some weeks its a 7 day work week with no breaks."

"To listen to the employees. We do have voices and need breaks."

"The United States Gypsum Company has been great to me as far as educating and training me. They are a large corporation that has a small company feel to it. The people who work at USG are great and very helpful."

"Safety! Always think Safety first. Safety is there #1 goal and becuase of that Safety will always be #1 in my mind when it comes to manufacturing."
What don't you like about working at United States Gypsum?
"The only thing I dont like about the company is the direction it is headed because of the economy. And that is at no fault of USG but they are making decisions soley based on that which is understandable."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"My only suggestion would be to listen to the plants, listen to the hourly people. They have a lot of good things to say and they should be heard."

"I would advise people to ask for what they want, if you were hoping for more money, let them know, if you want something that is not offered, ask about it."

"No room for advancement in terms of positions and not a large pay band to compensate for lack of positions."

"On average I do not have anything to advise them that I have not already advised. They may need to look at their pay bands for all employees."
