"I've worked as a Customer Success Manager with Houzz for 4 years. The company culture is great. Prior to WFH the office has catered lunches on Friday's and a rotating management schedule so you can learn different management styles. The pay could be better as they are constantly changing the Comp plan. You must be very flexible because they change guidelines and add new products often. The company is undergoing changes and people at the top level are leaving."
"I’ve worked for Houzz for two years. They’ve taught me a lot! They want to succeed and that important. They prioritize work life balance."
"Houzz is a company that is still growing and needs to adjust to their growth. The benefits they offer are pretty good and the pay is decent for starting out."
"Good company culture on the local level.. Supervisors are supportive and kind. But, it is a big company and you are an ant. Top management says "We're a family" but will layoff entire departments without warning because they miscalculated the needs. This happened more than once. They are also attempting an IPO. Serious cutbacks took place with an apparent motive to pump up the IPO. if you were an affected employee, (I was not) you may have been thrown out on the street so the owners and investors can profit. Business is business, not a family. Just know that going in."
"Great culture and fantastic management team. Would like to have more growth opportunities. Potentially something along the lines of a mentorship program."
"Houzz will go out of their way to keep their employees... but this isn't done with more effective sales tools, room for advancement, or level appropriate freedoms, it's done through treats, decorations, games, prizes. That does not work for seasoned sales professionals. In addition, the need to back our sales promises with enough sales support is glaringly lacking with more emphasis on hitting and IPO than integrity to their constituents. Perhaps Houzz will be able to support their growth fairly in the future, but they weren't making the necessary changes in 2019."
"I worked for Houzz for nearly 5 years. During my tenure at Houzz, I was able to build longtime relationships with my colleagues throughout all levels of the organization, as well we lasting relationships with customers. Houzz is an innovative company with many definite highlights, specifically the positive work environment and ability to foster impactful relationships. The people at Houzz were the main reason for my nearly 5 year tenure, and I feel fortunate to have worked with some of the industry's top professionals. I wish nothing but the best for the company and individuals employed there."
"I started in Sales at Houzz and moved to being a Senior Recruiter. I loved the opportunity Houzz provided and felt close with my manager and team."

"I've worked for Houzz since 2013 and have loved every minute of it. The company culture is fantastic and many of the leaders are wonderful people that have a genuine vested interest in the company's continued success. I will credit much of my learning and development to Houzz and am grateful to have said that my experience there was overwhelmingly positive. There are definitely opportunities, like with any company, though overall this is a positive place to work."
