"Salary was fair, however only guaranteed x 18 months. When not meeting unrealistic goals, administration was willing to drop salary by $55,000 for a 18 year experienced doc, set for a year, rather than negotiate another 6 months. This is when my original performance was based on inaccurate data, I was misled and signed the shorter guarantee, and when my numbers were trending up every month steadily"

"It is excellent. We receive raises according to our evaluation and not just seniority. My ability to make more money is present because we are evaluated according to our work performance. I also work nights hence I have an hourly difference between $3 to $5 depending on what time I work. Also, I get a difference in pay as the Charge Nurse."

"I have mentioned several times (at one point alongside five other coworkers), both verbally and in
writing, to management and multiple tiers of the Human resource department the environment I am
subjected to working in is strife with disparaging remarks, sexual harassment, vulgar language and
hostile and threatening actions (slamming desks, using offensive language and slurs against patients and
coworkers) I do not feel these unhealthy conditions prevalent in the office make for a conducive work
environment nor do I feel I am able to work under these conditions for much longer. I also do not feel
reasonable solutions were put into action to prevent these instances from occurring going forward or to
provide a safe and respectable working environment for me after these problems were reported. As I
have made several attempts to rectify this situation over the last two years and have been unable to
resolve it through dialogue or action with Houston Methodist, I believe I have no other option but to
resign."
