"I worked for Hotelbeds as a Yield Manager for only a few months. My experience has been very busy to say nonetheless. I work remotely from home in Los Angeles, however, I was sent to onboarding in Orlando Florida for 2 weeks right when my contract started. After that, I was assigned a portfolio to help with the account management of many hotels for a specific area. From there, I spent a lot of time at home studying the material that I was given and analyzed the information at my own pace. *Some background information, the company had acquired 2 other large companies GTA and Tourico a couple of years prior and the entire company was still picking up the pieces from that integration* So as I was learning, the company was definitely trying different ways of work so that all the employees in the company were on the same page. Within a few months of onboarding, I was then sent again to Orlando for a Bootcamp so everyone was officially on the same page. With all that being said, I could really see the company doing its best to unite and find effective ways of working. I decided to quit for the sole purpose of myself in that I realized this job was not helping in the career path I wanted to go. So I would definitely recommend this job to someone who enjoys working from home, is very detail-oriented, has some background in working with hotels (and contracting preferred), and is able to travel 30% of the time to both the main office in Orlando and their portfolio destination."
