"Went through 3 managers in one year. Emphasis was more on quantity than quality. Managers and coworker were young and inexperienced. No attention was given to recommendations by employees. Complete top down management for the wrong reasons - good employees were frequently dismissed because they took the time to speak with their customers and give quality service, but didn't make the quota for numbers of completed inquiries. Solutions seemed irrelevant - just get rid of the customer inquiries."
"I've worked for HostGator since 2009. It's been great, however the purchase of the company by EIG has led to the downfall of this company and many others which have been purchased by EIG. I can no longer stand by product which I do not believe in."

"Very fast paced. Performance is based on the number of tickets closed rather than actual quality of work."
"Worked there for 5 months. The people were awesome, the management was awesome. I highly recommend working here."
"Unfortunately, Hostgator management doesn't seem to respect the thoughts of their employees or clients. Also, there are a few nice, friendly and smart supervisors but the majority have a power complex. The whole building was falling apart, including the chairs you had to sit in. Just wish they had better management."
"HostGator is one of the first jobs I ever had where, if I didn't absolutely enjoy the thought of going to work every day, I at least did not dread it. However, as much as I love the company and the people who work there, they have some serious issues they need to take care of in terms of infrastructure and management. I sincerely hope they continue to improve as they have for a number of years now and become the excellent company they should be."
"Excellent company to work for."
