"Great place to work, allows you to increase previous skills and become a better scientist."
"Overall, researching at the Hospital for Special Surgery was an invaluable experience leading to a lot of knowledge garnered. It allowed me to implement what I learned in college in a more clinical setting. As it is one of best hospitals in the nation, the challenge of submitting work up to the expectations of the P.I, drove me to be a better and stronger researcher."
"I enjoyed my internship experience at Hospital for Special Surgery."
"HSS is a wonderful place to work at. They put their staff at that center of excellence and help them become world class employees. We are the best at what we do because we continue to learn and improve on what we have learned. Working here has been a wonderful journey not only with coworkers but also with management."
"I've worked in two completely different spectrum's of HSS. I've help patients in the clinical aspect as well as the administrative aspect. The hospital is a great place to work if you can get into the right department. They tend to be strict when it comes to Attendance but will always look out for your best interest."
"HSS is a solid company and a good place for beginners. It lacks transparency and lacks growth potential. The company is top heavy in this region, and upper management fails to realize the benefits of rewarding the middle manager level, thereby causing high turnover at that level. It has become stagnant in the southern region of California losing ground to competitors like AlliedBarton Security Services and Universal Protection Services."
"I've worked at HSS over a summer. It was a fantastic experience as an intern. Not only was I trained and garnered experience in the field that I was originally interested in, but also a lot of employees were very helpful in allowing me to get glimpses into other parts of hospital's functionalities, including its IT structures, speaking with surgeons and nurses, and other business transactions."
