It was terrible. My manager was unfit for her position as GM. She, along with our sales team enjoyed talking about employees behind their back and depended upon gossip to hear news about employees and never bothered to talk them in a professional manner unless she heard something bad about them from someone else.It was treacherous and good people are constantly fired from this location for inane reasons. Guests should also not have so much power over employees.
I've worked for Hilton since 2015. I've worked at three different Hilton properties, including internationally in Australia. I love the culture, the industry and truly enjoy making someone's day extra great! I have strong relationships with all of my current and past coworkers and supervisors. I love that my opinion matters and I can confidently contribute my ideas! I take pride, passion and ownership in my work and it always goes positively noticed.
I am responsible for all hotel groups, convention, sports, wedding, tour and travel venues. I go to offsite conventions to promote business, I do all of my own documentation, into our systems. I am also responsible for our two onsite meeting spaces. Food and beverage items, deposits, etc.
