2.5 I've worked for HID Global for over 3 years now. Unfortunately they are a hardware company trying to produce software and management don't quite understand how to make selling software profitable and therefore will not invest in R&D (perhaps further worsening the problem). If you're in engineering, there's no real career path; be happy and be a coder, but if you want something more, perhaps look elsewhere.
