"Hewitt is lucky I did not sue them for how poorly I was treated. I was medicated while working there because the stress levels are so high there."

What don't you like about working at Hewitt Associates?

"This is the worst company I have ever worked for. Lay-offs, gossip, co-workers sleeping with each other, people working there for over 30 years think they own the place and they have final say or everything."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management is worthless !!!! The management is so scared to step up and fix a problem they see going on and yet look the other way. Managers need to be a manager and put there staff in place if they screw up or they are causing problems in the work place. The admins run the show in the Falls Church office, and the IT guy sleeps with female employees there. This company is stuck in old fashioned ways and it is the worst company I have worked for yet. Do not outsource your site services is rule number one, you get help for 25,000 dollars a year with Xerox, you get 25,000 dollar service, spend money on your employees and dont use your name to get you buy."

"Don't. Your job will be outsourced within a year anyway."

"Not the Hewitt it used to be. There is no such thing as associate engagement anymore."

"Pay attention to your associates. Their performance is where your bonuses are based off of. If you're a bad manager, you won't be happy with the result no matter how many times you turn a team."

"At one time it was like working in Utopia. After it fell , the only thing I liked about it was getting paid."

"Only go there if you absolutely have to. If you go into management be prepared to be asked to be dishonest. Be prepared to be asked to give up your life, to have your job held over your head, just be prepared. Document EVERYTHING. Because you'll end up needing a lawyer eventually."

"The politics were outrageous, the demands put on me were almost illegal."
