"I liked the interacting with customers. Being able to attend to them and educating them on the importance of our services in order to get them to add them on to the contract."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I would recommend to them to really go into the job knowing that the job is phisacally demanding, and to work hard while they are young so they can be promoted faster."

What don't you like about working at Hertz?

"I really got tired of having to work 55 to 60 hour work weeks. As I get older I don't see myself working all those hours. Also the opportunities to grow are now very limited, no like when I first got hired in the company back in 2001. Since I got rehired there was no noticable promotion in our district."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I wolld recommend them to allow the managers at each branch to hire the correct amount of employees that are needed to proplerly do the job. All branchs are understaffed and that really takes a burden on employee moral."

"The only way you can get any legal problems solve with them is by suing them. If you do have any legal problems and you have to sue them don't ever drop the legal suit no matter what management tells you."

"Hertz Equipment Rental is like any other large corporation. What is in it for them and the hell with the employees"

"How can you give suggestion organisation that has a very unprofessional management team"

"Stop downsizing, eventually the economy will stabilize and you will desperately need the people you let go to grow into the company you desire."

"Good luck hope your job doesn't get out sourced. The moral is low there."

"Now that they have had so many layoffs and they keep lying to their people. I wouldn't want to go back to work there or for that matter recommend any one to work there. Hard to advance and project leader showed favoritism."

"Stop lying to your employees that their job is safe and they wont be out sourced. By the way I think it is a bad idea to out source."

"Management, Structure, Pay. I am surprised there hasn't been a lawsuit against the company for the way some of the management treats their female employees!"

"Staffing was an issue at times, so it would be nice to have a Utility staff member on hands at each branch."
