1.5The good things about working at Heritage: decent benefits, clean building. The not bad: favoritism, bullying by employees, unfair practices and double standards (i.e. it's ok for one person to do something but not for someone else to do the exact same thing), incompetent HR management, bad middle management, being treated like a child, and unprofessionalism. Managers who take selfies and Snapchat them to other "managers" while meeting with employees. Kids of the owners dating technicians, & it's allowed, yet others who are not related get let go for the same thing. Complete favoritism and cronyism. The reviews on Yelp, Google, etc are not even answered by the owners or management as those sites lead you to believe, but by underpaid employees with a scripted response. They have an A+ BBB rating because they simply reply to ALL complaints, which is great - but there are a good deal of complaints, mostly all of which are for price gouging. If you go to Yelp and click "reviews not currently recommended" at the BOTTOM of the page - these are reviews that Yelp does not use to count toward the company's rating due to the reviewer being new, having no friends on Yelp, etc - they've a lot more negative reviews listed in that area, but it doesn't go toward their overall stars. But these reviews speak for themselves. Professional and friendly technicians, yes, but trained to sell more and grossly overpriced. While I was employed there, they actually messaged ALL employees of the company -TWICE - asking them to go to another employee review site & write positive reviews - so that the negative ones won't look so bad. GM is great, not HR. I wouldn't wish upon anyone the experience that I went through working here and in many many years of working in professional environments I have NEVER seen a place SO poorly run. People in positions by default, not due to being good at their jobs. I was trained to hang up on unhappy customers. Others feel threatened by and bully you.
