"At times procedues seemed disorganized, but those kinks would eventually worked out."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would suggest meetings need to be planned ahead with detailed information regarding what the meetings will be about."

"Flexibility with working hours. Good location. The people are good."

"Good place to work. But the pay is much lower than the market."

What don't you like about working at HealthPort?

"There is not enough Transparency in what is going on."

"Some unprofessionalism when it comes to making promises and having the transparency of what is going on."

"The overall position was acceptable and supervision was fine. As with any company, improvements can be made but overall acceptable."

"I like that I can work on my own without somebody standing over you. I like my hours and my co-workers."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I believe that if you work hard and show up everyday with a good attitude, you will be rewarded down the line. When you have to start at an entry level, you have to expect a few bumps along the way. I know that one day I can be making more money as long as I do what I need to do and keep my attitude in check. There is no reason to make the day worse by being negative. In this economy, I really can't complain too much. I am blessed and thankful to have a job."

What don't you like about working at HealthPort?

"Lots of overtime, but since the pay isn't great the overtime is necessary. It would be nice if the training was more complete. Training is a joke and I think people would overall do a better job in the long run if they were trained for more than one shift. After that, you have to constantly ask questions if you need help. But you are expected to put out a certain amount of production after so many weeks."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would make sure the people who are hired to supervise others have more of a caring and concerned attitude towards their employees. I'm sure that every supervisor is not like that here, but most of the ones where I work seem to care less about us or what questions or concerns we have. It's a good day if they even say hello to you."

"I enjoy working with my coworkers"

"they need to care for their employees"

"It's not to bad. Management does not appricate you."

"I like the flexiablity that I have working for healthport ."

What don't you like about working at HealthPort?

"I have not recevied 1 raise since I have been here. 5 yrs. You don't get alot of vacation. And you have to use it or lose it."

"The management Needs to have better communication!! And they need to treat everyone the same. What does it take to get fired from Healthport Why do they hire someone with NO medical background"

"I really enjoy the minimal supervision that my position provides."

"Be prepared to work long hours for low pay, and even crappier benefits."

What don't you like about working at HealthPort?

"There are too many different directions and rules for the same thing. No one knows something is being done wrong until they are in trouble. Too much work, not enough workers."

"Make sure all employees are on the same page about changes in the company and our day to day duties."

"I've worked for this company a little over a year, and the way the economy is, I'm just glad to be employed."

"This is the most abysmal position I have ever held. I needed a job fast and took this one. The HR department was very deceptive in the hiring process, indicating that there was occasional overtime. Turns out that the position required 9-10 hours a day, 6 days a week, every week. The working conditions were terrible, they want robots with complete conformity, and no deviations. You're told how to sit, are unable to have anything on your desk. No personal belongings, no individuality."
