The benefits were excellent, the atmosphere was fun and engaging, and the supervisors, management, and CEOs seemed to genuinely care not just about the guests, but the employees as well. The current management only cares about the bottom line, not the guests and employees who have been loyal to them over the years."

"They invest in their employee's success. They utilize the talent that they hired. For such a large company, making changes is not as buearacratic as you would expect."

"They are pretty good at recognizing talent so if you are a good fit, it's not much you need to do. If you know someone at the company, networking will definitely help you out. They tend to always hire those they are familiar with and value employee references."

What don't you like about working at Harrah's Entertainment?

"Didn't have personal relationship with coworkers. Although nice, they were very boring. I am from the east coast so maybe I just had a hard time adjusting to the Vegas mindset. Also, the majority of the company is older and I'm younger."

"Be a little bit more personable with your employees to understand what motivates them."

"Relax and be yourself. The main thing they are looking for is that you can be friendly and provide a good experience for all of their guests."

"I did not like the mandatory uniforms or the fact that we had to stay standing in the same place for 10 hrs a day with few breaks."

"None, I thought management was wonderful and open minded. They took the time to listen to everyone's point of view and opinion before forming a decision."

"Stay away from there. There is no HR any more. The former HR Dir is a cheerleader who just got promoted."

"Management. They are so bad we have a very high turnover rate over 100 percent each yr"
