"I only worked for Hanesbrands for a few years. My company was purchased by Hanes and absorbed into their existing operations resulting in our location being closed and most employees being terminated. Hanes was challenging to work with as the communication was limited. I did explore other options to remain with Hanes, but a corporate freeze on hiring prevented that frombeing an option."

"I love working with my immediate supervisor and the rest of the employes in the department. I enjoy the fast paced work environment and the challenges of the job."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If you are hired as a temp or contractor, go in knowing you will not be hired full time, no raises, no promotions. Be prepared for chaos, frustration and a great amount of stress."
What don't you like about working at Hanes?
"The management style from the top down is to demean, micro manage and blame some one else. Managers and most employees are rude, abrasive and very unfriendly. Everyone fears for their job. When you pass someone in the hall that you pass several times each day, for years, look at their feet and refuse to say hello. Everyone is always trying to throw each other under the bus, never taking responsibility for their own actions. Not a friendly work atmosphere to say the least."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Reward employees that excel at their jobs, that train themselves and train others around them. Reward employees that always take on additional responsibilities, turn in superior work and ahead of schedule. Reward hard work, excellence, achievement, knowledge, not just seniority."

"Working on the weekends and holidays or working until closing."

"None the management staff was very good and professional staff."
