"I dislike management. From project managers on up, they are clueless."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The projects are so mismanaged, and the company went from overstaffed to understaffed in a matter of months. You need to better manage the projects you are working on and realize what strengths and weaknesses people have and play off of them, vs. throwing people into unfamiliar situations and then blaming the consultant for not knowing what they are doing."

"At first it seemed that they were all on board for training and ongoing training when first coming in. I was very excited to be with such a large company and have this opportunity at my age."

"Get all the facts up front about the position you are about to accept."

What don't you like about working at Halliburton?

"Once you began employment and were assigned to a rig, there was a huge lack of communication from the office to the lead driller about who was being assigned to them and their level of knowledge and lack of. It seemed that it was a task for most of the lead drillers to assist in any sort of training."

"Have training in place before setting someone up for failure."

"The schedule was nice. It was seven days on and seven days off. My coworkers are very friendly."

"Management did not listen to our concern. They put the employee last. I've been there for three years and have only seen one raise, and I advanced to two positions and did not see a raise for the promotion."

"They need to listen to the employees and give them raises when needed."
