"You have a very low chance of getting hired. The majority of the people they hire are within the company. They have to post their positions on their website as a state requirement, even though they may have no intention of hiring someone that currently doesn't work for Grand Valley."

What don't you like about working at Grand Valley State University?

"IT department does not like new ideas. Full time employees will not make our jobs easier if it requires them to do work."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The department would be more efficient if the 5 highest paid employees in the IT department were fired and replaced with high school graduates."

"No. The institution has chanfed a lot over the years. There are new people in charge"
