"GTECH is the largest gaming company in the world. They primarily contract with lotteries of various states and countries around the world. The work environment was acceptable but the opportunities to work with new technologies or to advance is slim."

"I was employed at GTECH Corp for over 5 years. The one on one relationship structure it has with its government regulated client(s) makes for a rather non-standard business model with a dash of technology melded to the structure. It is not directly comparable to a pure-play tech company but was in its own way a unique and interesting experience. The environment consisted of a diverse mix of technical, business, interstate regulatory, as well as local state government statutes and requirements. It was a very interesting experience but a somewhat rigid environment with little opportunity for growth."

"I worked at GTECH for 13 years. Although a strong company within its industry, there are many internal problems when dealing with its employees. As with many large corporations, there tends to be many levels of internal political conflicts. These conflicts stem from a lack of communication and appreciation towards employees. This is reflected in the company's inability to promote and guide its employees on a clear career path."
