"I have worked security for Global Security Concepts for 2 years. It was a good experience doing this as a college job. My pay was reasonable and I got lots of flexible hours. The supervisor was very understanding to my class schedule and my fellow security officers were always helpful in case of an emergency situation such as dealing with transients and thieves."

"I have worked for Global Security Concepts for 3 years now, and it has been an amazing experience. The operations team is responsive and always available. There is effective communication between the operations team and the security guards onsite so that there are no confusions about the shifts. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone that wants to work security."

"Job started out good. Worked with a good team. The overtime got out of hand the first month I started there. 8 hour shifts quickly turned into 10. Then 12, then 14. After that, 5 days became 6. The whole time I was there. It was rare to go below 55 hours a week. Any time you have plans outside of work. Even if it's to study to better your future. You get a meeting with the head manager and supervisor on what they call what's going on with you. They have those meetings to see if they need to let you go on the spot if you can't work 6 days straight. You get scolded pretty bad if you ever mention school studying or plans. In my personal experience. Due to how good my team was that I worked with. The main supervisors would never stay a full shift. They would come to work for about a hour and then just disappear. Any time we had a situation where cops were called for disgruntled customers, and we needed back up, they were nowhere to be found. I had a few fights break out in front of me. Called it in on the radio. Nothing. You find out right away the supervisors don't have your back. During the holidays when we had a lot of lost and found items, they would go missing in the security office if they had value. Tablets, wallets with cash in it, toys, even Xboxes. You try and ask the supervisors what happened to the items. They get mad and tell you not to worry about it. The vibe you get was so bad. I had to quit the job right on the spot when I tried to bring up studying for school. Tells me, so you think you can pick your own hours now. Before I could even finish my sentence. The manager says you either pick school or the job, you can't have both. Wouldn't even listen to reason. There were times in the past I needed time off to go do training as well. It was very tough to get the day off and even when I did they would still blow my phone up. I'm glad I quit. When a boss or supervisor doesn't care that you're trying to better your future, not a good person to work for."

"I first thought this company was ok to work for due to the pay. You never see a real person's colors at first. The o.t looks good at first plus the o.t on top of that. When you start to have plans such as studying for testing or school you aren't useful to them anymore. They will scold you if you try and ask for time off for studying. But when the supervisors want to take a day off they do, and they get paid for it too. Lost and found items go missing very quickly if they have huge value. Anything from Xbox 1s, to cell phones and money. The main bosses love to get paid not to be there and have all of us do more o.t. I can see why people do not last here long. Do not work for this site if you are going to school and have a life. If you are looking out for your future they don't want that. You need to be a dead beat loser like they are."
