What do you like about working at Groupon?

"Start-up Culture in the beginning was great but slowly faded away as Groupon rapidly grew. If your out of college or in your early twenties its a great job and your working with like-minded individuals."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Just know it can be hit or miss at Groupon. It all depends on who your direct supervisor is and the market your given. Often talent is overlooked and not rewarded which has caused many of their top sales reps to leave the company."

What don't you like about working at Groupon?

"Upper management expected all of their markets to grow 10% month over month. These expectations were held in every single market when it was obvious that Groupon had already started to plateau in most markets."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Groupon grew so quickly that upper management had a difficult time containing it. They adjusted by promoting top sales reps to management strictly based on performance not taking into consideration leadership/management skills. This led to a group of kids running the company..."

"to many changes in one 1 period the pay structure changed to many times."

"Be more creative in order to incentive the account executives"
