Field Service Engineer

"I've worked for Grimco since 2017, I had so great experience in the Printing industry; also had the opportunity to work in the most important places in this Country like Army basis. Great relationship with all the techs and management. Unfortunately due to the Corona Virus the company lost revenue for a big margin that they had to make a sad decision of get rid of a lot of people one of those was me."

"Good company to start in, but has limited opportunity for growth. Good company to learn a corporate sales structure with aggressive quotas that help the sales team reach great success."

What do you like about working at Grimco?

"Good co-workers, work autonomously and independently, able to create my own list of accounts to call, use CRM to track my accounts, use sales skills to acquire accounts, interaction with business owners who are interested in the products that we sold, great benefits."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Understand that you're going to be in the sign making / sign supply industry. You will be working and communicating with a lot of blue collar individuals. It's not a very big industry. The offices are in a warehouse and you will be performing warehouse duties from time to time including stocking / shipping / pulling / picking / etc."

What don't you like about working at Grimco?

"Was not interested in the sign making / sign supply industry, no advancement opportunities, poor management, very little training, was micromanaged, very little structure, used an out-dated as/400 system, had to work in a warehouse, only worked with 3 other people in a small office, worked under 3 different managers."
