"The ability to freely move within departments within the company; you got a really good understanding of how the insurance machine worked... on each level, through each step of the process. Invaluable in the education it provided for future endeavors."

What don't you like about working at Greatwest Healthcare?

"Glass ceiling, perhaps because employees were satisfied with their current status & situation, growth (promotion)or vertical movement was EXTREMELY limited. There just wasn't the availiability & when positions became open, it was the same office politics that exists most everywhere else. People were standing in line, working (externally) very hard for consideration of those positions."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"A third party external auditor to come in and review their efficiency, effective leadership techniques, morale (internal subculture), process improvements and realignment with end stage goals integrating innovative ideas to achieve fresh enthusiasm for achieving both immediate line level goals & working towards end stage goals. Emotional Intellegence training for all leaders, reminding them that they should model the behavior they 'wish' to see reflected back."
