"Research is a challenging career with long training times and low success rates but Duke is as good of a place as any to do it."

"Lack of organized professional development services, parking is expensive and rude."

"I like the work culture, the collaboration and the technical discussions that help us learn better"

"You should be talented. Understand the core concepts behind any technology. they don't expect any flamboyant usage of irrelevant techniques, but they look deep into how you understand the basics and how you apply them appropriately."

What don't you like about working at Ohio State University?

"since it is a research assistant position, I am obliged to be in all the meeting proceedings, which are irrelevant to my work or my research. These take up almost 3-4 hours of my time everyday. But, my adviser is so flexible that he has given me permission to attend meetings only if they are related to me."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Nothing. They are doing a good job already, so I dont have any suggestions yet."
