"I was awarded an apprentice at Google via North Seattle College while pursuing an Associate's Degree. The free hoodies, gym membership and transit to and from the office were enough to interest anyone but my favorite perk was the free lunch. I was broke and in college at the time so a free meal was very appreciated."

"I feel that the culture is both progressive and collaborative. I am always learning things at work, and this makes it exciting."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Study beforehand, and be honest and down to earth at the interview. Also, don't tell me I'm interviewing you incorrectly. If what I say is technically wrong, tell me, and be ready to explain to me or argue with me why that is."

What don't you like about working at Google?

"I wish our interview candidates are better than they are."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I have absolutely no desire to run the show. So the things I do differently would probably be things I do worse. Much worse."
