"I've worked for Gooch and Housego Optronic Labs since 2011. At first it was a very nice environment with people that are easy to get along with. All my co-workers are nice and it is a fairly laid back environment. Over the years that I have worked there the company has seemed to make some decisions that bring projects greater than the scope our company can handle. We only have 2 software engineers that actually program (me being one) and the workloads placed upon us have reached ridiculous levels. Travel was not initially part of the job description but the company has required many flights across the country and overseas taking me away from family and loved ones. Overall the co-workers are nice, but management expects wine out of water."
