"The exciting and fast paced gaming environment. The employees are wonderful too. Being in charge of every aspect of a Casino's daily operations provides a challenge in which I excelled at."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be yourself, be good at math, be a leader and most of all.......a people person. Managers in the casino industry deal with thousands of people."
What don't you like about working at Golden Nugget?
"Putting up with the customers that drank too much and wanted to fight when they were asked to leave. I ran into a life threatening situation which made me question my continued employment."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Management is not being a 'boss'. It is being a leader, motivator and the ability to get your hands dirty with everyone when necessary. Earning respect from employees is key and makes managing people a lot easier when they know you are indeed a leader and not a 'power tripper' or a dictator."
