"I loved my various roles with AmeriCredit. Goals were challenging, and the rewards for aggressive performance were significant. Of my eight years with this company, literally less than a handful felt like WORK. This company taught me more about how to accomplish and work for a solution than any other education or job since."

"Be honest, prepare to work hard negotiating deals, and keep an open mind. And finally, if you say you will do something, do it!"

"Advancement opportunities to the corporate office were limited, and that started my looking at other options."

"Never forget to reward employees' efforts. That doesn't always mean financially. A simple hand-written note or public acknowledgment, or even a new title sometimes makes all the difference in retaining great employees."
