"I like the environment and the vehicles. Cars are what I like to do, and something I am always looking to improve."

"Be honest, work hard, and always remember that it is a company that really represents the core values of honesty, non-discrimination, and effort."

What don't you like about working at General Motors?

"I dislike the growth potential. The problem is that, due to the bankruptcy, GM has slowed its programs in Mexico, basically removing the possibility of growing within GM more than what the US can grow. At this point, even the temporal assignments are almost inexistent and are almost unique for the US positions."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"None. They are doing their best to keep the talent, and trying to promote my efforts as much as possible. The problem is, I really don't want to wait until GM thinks it's okay for the Mexico unit to grow again."

"I liked everything that this plant had to offer the employees. I liked the management and UAW leadership. Everyone was a well-oiled unit and worked well together."

"Be yourself. Be honest, upfront, and punctual. Show strong leadership skills and an ability to learn new skills."

What don't you like about working at General Motors?

"I could not sat anything bad about this company - nothing but good times had by all."

"Address any and all concerns that your managers and employees have in a timely manor."

"I like having the ability to save the company money even though I am in a role as quality director."

"Live and learn. Always treat people fairly and instill a teamwork environment."

What don't you like about working at General Motors?

"I dislike bad attitudes. When suggestions are successful and result in better quality and significant cost savings, co-workers feel threatened and teamwork becomes negative. I also dislike only listening to certain persons when their decisions are costing the company money."

"Listen to all persons at all levels as base decisions from that information."

"Work-life balance is bad at times, depending on the demand for your product."

"When the company does not have a clear vision, then we do not have a good culture."

"Think big, and work out a tailor-made contingency plan for a global manufacturing site."

"I like the multinational environment, high professional standards, career path, colleagues, and continuous training."

"Show enthusiasm and be available to travel extensively. Have a great professional background and be open-minded."

"Working in Opel was frustrating because the company was fully oriented towards the American branches (Cadillac, Chevrolet, Saturn, etc.)."

"Act locally. Have less standardization, because every country has a different market."

"I have always enjoyed working in a multicultural environment. Also, I enjoy implementing emerging technologies."

"They may be a little too bureaucratic when it comes time to implement new ideas."
