GLP & Associates Employee

"Has been a great experience from start to writing my first business right out of training. The culture that's passed down from previous agents shows why people that take the training material and study during the class can be successful right away! I was confident in my abilities and now know 100% this was an amazing decision."

"Steer clear and stay away from this company! Company has a very poor reputation in the 403b market segment, as well as the property and casualty industry. Company has horrible ethical practices. They don't care about taking your clients and allowing newer agents to solicit them. There is no client protection for active agents and everything is nothing but a free for all. Honestly, this company will be the next one in the news with someone going postal. Steer clear - you have been warned!"

Financial Advisor

"One of the worst experiences of my life!!"

What do you like about working at GLP & Associates?

"Financial Advisors made your own schedules and worked your own hours."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Please do not waste you time listening to the false promises spewed by this company. It is not worth it. Once you're there, you're stuck there!!"

What don't you like about working at GLP & Associates?

"One of the most unethical firms that I have ever worked for. Management lies to their clients as well as their employees. Your clients are given to other agents to work. They lie to their prospective employees about how much you will earn. They will cheat you out of your commissions with unreasonable explanations. Job requirement is to sign a 3 year non-compete agreement. So once you realize how horrible the company is you are prevented from moving to anot firm. There is no regard for customer service. Its all about how much can they take from you - not about how can we make our sales team successful!!"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I will not make any suggestions to management because they won't take the criticism and actually change to make it a better working environment."

Financial Sales Associate

What do you like about working at GLP & Associates?

"The training was fair. But they make it seem oh so easy but it reality it is not; especially when you are in high competitive environments like Detroit Public Schools. But if you are Jewish or white they will send you to lower competition, white school districts. Some people have done very well in those districts"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"They will take just about anyone. After all it is a commissioned sale position."

What don't you like about working at GLP & Associates?

"If you are black you will go to Detroit Public or Flint schools only. They tell you pie in the sky earning potential but don't mention the down sides and their very high turnover of people who burn out and don't make money. And more don't than do. The only people really making money are the people who have been there for years and they WILL steal your clients"
