"The opportunity to build business relationships and sales revenue success with brokers, grocery buyers and category managers. Those relationships led to unprecedented success and facilitated achievement of my personal quota attainment and distribution goals."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Have a dialogue in the areas noted above during the interview process. Define the mission, culture and values-based leadership initiatives. Seek organizational transparency."

What don't you like about working at Glory Foods?

"Not enough trade support to drive existing and new distribution. (1) No Slotting Fees (2) Under-budgeted promotion dollars. (3) Poor forecasting models. (4) Creativity, nor new ideas are encouraged. (5) Limited internal communications from senior management."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"(1) Marketing by geographic segment captures numerous opportunities. (2) Preplanning on budget should include broker input prior to new fiscal year, meet separately as Glory mgt team, and plan budgeting accordingly. (3) Utilize the same format for forecasting. (4) Conduct in-house sustainability meeting showing management and the internal work force where the organization needs to get to in revenue, the plan to get there, and the oganizational behavior that would compliment those objectives and goals."
