"Start through a staffing company, hire you on in 90 days as long as you don't have to many absences. Keep everything from your hiring on process HR is so unorganized they will mess up your pay and checks then when you call them they will tell you how you are bothering them The rudeness and disrespect starts from the top there is too many many people in management there are friends and family that aren't holding each other accountable instead they just help each other lie to you. Team leads and supervisors contribute to a hostile work environment unless you are running behind them they will try to bully you they do employee surveys but employees have quit doing them because you either become a target for what you said or simple nothing changes. Most employees are great to work with but the management is a lot of the reason there is such a high turnover rate Also you work 6 to 7 days a week, they keep adding more and more production #s each week but you are so far behind due to a lack of parts, bad parts, bad machines or manpower choose employer wisely Don't get me wrong I like my job and I enjoy what I do"

"I have worked with GKN Driveline, Newton for nearly 10 years now and I found it to be an enjoyable experience. The opportunities are there but you generally have to be connected to management for the better opportunities within the company. Overall I would say my experience has been great with less than average payscale but not bad for the area."

"I worked there over 12 years and then they chose to lay me off. The company has gone done a path where they don't respect tenure or experience. Upper management has become completely disconnected with production. They have no relationships with the people doing the daily work. They make short term decisions to impact pact the bottom line today with no regard for the impact tomorrow."

"I worked for GKN Driveline for a year and this by far is one of the worst places I've ever worked. They work you 7 days a week and have a five point system. Which means after five points you're gone. If you are sick they will give you a point for being out or even in a car wreck. Managers at GKN for the most part are kids and they hire pretty much anybody. GKN is very unorganized and I strongly discourage any of my family or friends to work there. They don't care anything about their workers, and the only positive thing about GKN is you can work 12 hour shifts if you want to."

"This company is all company, they do not care about if you have a family or not. GKN is the only family you have. Have to be in there on holidays, which is dumb. They only care about themselves, if you are having issues with another employee they tell you to ignore them. To many young people over the floor."

"Freight Services has someone who is always driving the employees away. She has been doing it for years and she will be there until someone slaps her and the company with a lawsuit."

"Management should start valuing the employees and stop micro-managing and the new VP needs to come back down to earth instead of always thinking everything is so high level."
