"Gerimedix is a supplier/distributor of all products that go to nursing homes, geriatric care centers, hospice centers and wound care centers . It is owned by 2 gentlemen who started this business 36 years ago out of a garage in Brooklyn, NY and have incrementally grown each year since . The company employs 51 people, and the owners are the " sales department" and spend almost all of their time on the road meeting with customers, and potential customers . It is a very competitive and challenging environment , and there is the occasional turnover in warehouse and drivers as we constantly try to meet budget and maintain costs and expenses. Very labor intensive, and lots of overtime and weekends as we go through the various Orthodox Jewish Holidays which again pose a challenge to maintaining budget while still delivering optimum service and managing inventory stock to cover sales ."
