"The engineer cares about himself, not others Who do not get paid overtime you get compensation time. If you do not report to snow and ice events or storm cleanup, they threaten to fire you or to send an obituary to them. They do not put time properly into the computer system, so you do not properly get paid, don’t get me wrong the people and coworkers you work with are wonderful we work hard we get the job done but it’s management and foreman that caused the problems when things happen. Nothing is ever reported to Atlanta Georgia like it supposed to be because they keep it in house they don’t want because the big dogs did not want to ruin the reputation Gdot stands for go do other things and I highly recommend that to anyone wanting to get a state job. The benefits are wonderful but it’s very poor leader ship that causes a lot of issues you cannot give your own opinion unless you were a foreman that is frowned upon the blame game is big in Gdot , the state finds ways to screw you over. It’s never about you the employee. It’s about them they get the credit not you."
