"Challenge and diversity of the place. There is always something going on there. Exemplary science at work. Genentech support activities from development (of new products), through the clinical phase, laboratory work and manufacturing. Great potential for growth."

"Show your passion and enthusiasm when you interview."

What don't you like about working at Genentech?

"HR definitely needs more resources to address the shear volume of applications.Not much of a corporate image outside of the biotech world. They could definitely toot their horn more for all the things they have accomplished."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Remove the silos that limit departmental growth. Define the structure. There are too many QA legs, engineering legs, compliance legs and hence a lack of good communication sometimes."
