"I worked for Gelsons in San Diego for 2 years. I was relieved when I found another place of employment because I knew the mistreatment would finally stop. Gelsons has discriminated against me for being obviously gay and I physically saw employees being discriminated against for being anything but white. The company and the customers are very racist and if you speak up, you are targeted. Gelsons is experienced in emotional abuse of its employees. They will talk down to you and tell you how awful they think you are until you end up believing it. Unless you are part of the click, you will have a very hard time working here."
