"Great company, I truly get along with my teammates and they are more than happy to help me learn and grow. Currently they are growing quickly which is good but brings growing pains. Company is sometimes too product focused and skips some automation for short term gains."

"One of the better places to work in the area. Good people and the chance to work on cool products. Salary is okay, nearby agencies and marketers pay slightly better but benefits are top notch. Exurban location offset by cafeteria and nearby fast food and grocery. Drawback: Entrenched leadership by product/software engineers who don't believe in advertising."

"I've worked for my company for over 5 years and I find that the company is very stable. There are plenty of talented people who work there. One of the main problems is that the company lacks diversity and middle management has poor judgement. There is very little innovation and there is poor communication company wide."

"HR does nothing but rubber-stamp management decisions. If you get an inkling of miscommunication with your supervisor, move to another group or get out - fast!"

"Specifically referring to AutoOEM in Chandler, AZ, the management of this group is very dysfunctional. Very negative environment. The co-workers are great, and products interesting. Schedule is impossible and management help/communication is non-existent. My advice is to work for Aviation and avoid AutoOEM like the plague!"

"I've worked for the Automotive OEM office in Chandler, AZ for 3 years. Garmin International as a company is a great place to work, however the situation in the Chandler office is not a healthy environment. This is specifically the Auto OEM group. The Aviation team is a great place to work. Auto OEM on the other hand suffers from poor morale, mostly due to management style. As my colleague said It's like management underbid, and we are being punished for it."

"the project I was tasked to complete for my internship was underestimated in terms of its difficulty, which added a whole lot of stress for me to prove my skills to my mentor and company. No inter-office collaboration , I was the only person doing that project. most of the summer was spent in limbo watiing for the code to work. furthermore, the branch I was in (dci) 's application was ill-thought out and poorly executed altogether, which wasn't exactly motivating for me."

"I've worked at Garmin for 2 years, and have really enjoyed it. The company is run by engineers, so there is a real involvement from management. The only reason I'm considering leaving the company is I do not want to live forever in Kansas City."
