"Uncertainty, the company decision making process is dictorial at the site level. Corporate is unaware of decisions and how they are being made."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Re-evaluate your decisions for Publisher Vice-President and General Manager placement in Central Wisconsin. Place more emphasis on your core print product. Central Wisconsin is a rural, less on-line motivated. The residents would like the paper as their parents received it. Less Local / Local and again include some regional, national and world news. I live here, I know the people, I listen and most of all I came from Detroit Michigan so know this is what they want!"

"Gannett continued to cut costs including circulation of its local newspapers. The decreased circulation made the product ineffective for the advertiser and increasingly difficult to sell."

"Invest, don't cut costs."
