"I worked for FusionStorm, which was a start-up company for 20 years. The company provided IT delivery and system integration for many enterprise companies. Our engineering team was an innovative team that always seeks ways to improve and accommodate our customers, even sometimes, we had to do things out of the box. Recently, it was acquired by a UK-based multi-billion dollar company. While the financial backing is good, the culture and the operations changed which led to many re-org and laid-offs."

"I have been at FusionStorm for just over 18 months and, although, the benefit of telecommuting is great the reality is not so great. It often leads to longer hours and harder to separate work life from home life. The job is challenging and rewarding but the growth potential is not necessarily there."
