"Be casual. Let them know that you are very going and are easy to get along with."

"The company was doing very poorly financially.I spent almost all of my time on the phone with vendors."

"Become much more business oriented. Do a much better job of estimating special projects."

"The research that goes into doing my job. Keeping employees and vendors happy."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't settle for a lower salary than you can live off of in hopes of getting a quick raise after proving yourself. Raises are promised monthly but really only happen if the company has extra money to throw around every now and then."

What don't you like about working at FTSI?

"The managers don't care about employees but are focused fully on making money. They don't understand that the employees who work the front line may have some of the best money-saving ideas and are the real face of the company. If they constantly aggravate the employees, those same employees don't spread a positive image about the company, nor are they likely to recruit others to come to work for the company."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Care about the employees. People don't care how much their boss knows until they know how much the boss cares. Treat people as they would like to be treated."
