"I’ve been at FreeConferenceCall.com for the past eight years. FreeConferenceCall.com is a top global conferencing and collaboration provider with a variety of service offerings and innovative features. I've found the company is unique in that there is a real equality to the work process. Employees feel valued, whether as an entry-level customer service representative or a senior-level project manager. The CEO isn’t shut away in his office, but walks the floor every time he’s in and takes time to have personal conversations with staff. I’m very comfortable with the management team as a whole; everyone maintains an open-door policy, and there’s a candid, professional atmosphere that allows employees the freedom to voice issues and complaints. I started out in customer service in 2007, and was promoted within 7 months to the marketing department. At the time, the company was growing swiftly, and timing and opportunity were on my side. My story isn’t particularly unique, though, as FreeConferenceCall.com definitely emphasizes recruiting from within. I can think of a number of other employees who started out in customer service and have risen in the ranks to senior positions. We’ve actually been going through another growth spurt recently, and I strongly believe that if you show initiative, dedication and patience, there’s plenty of opportunity for professional growth. I’m also happy with my compensation. The money is great, but it doesn’t stop there. Our CEO is very generous and we have amazing benefits – not just health, vision and dental, for example, but a free gym membership. Of course, there are the expected good days and bad days; however, I can say that I am constantly challenged and and driven to do better. The team and the work itself allows me the space not just to grow my knowledge base and skill set but to think outside the box. I’ve become comfortable with getting out of my comfort zone, and it keeps my work fresh and interesting."
