"Was my fist job out of grad school. Was a good place to work but Federal Government conservator ship since the 2008 financial crisis has changed everything and 11-years later there is no feasable end in sight. Career growth is slow and limited in the regional offices."
What do you like about working at Freddie Mac?
"I like the regional team I work with. We all work very well together and have managed to be the #1 team in the company."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Think outside of the box and be a leader. It is ok to go against the status quo so long as there is sufficient reason to do so."
What don't you like about working at Freddie Mac?
"It is in conservatorship. As a result, it is under government control and comp is restricted because of it and below market."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would suggest a spinoff of the multifamily group, which is a topic of discussion."
