"The Web Developer II position at ForRent.com was a good experience overall with my fellow co-workers. However, being a satellite office proved to be a challenge while trying to communicate with the corporate office, and training for the remote office was extremely limited. Advancements were seen in the corporate office and rarely given outside to remote teams. Requests for self-improvement suggestions and direction were rarely met, but upon dismissal of the entire team they did provide a very nice separation package."
What do you like about working at ForRent.com?
"I like that they are open to departments working together on projects and interested in new technologies and innovations. Good salary and benefits and the people are a pleasure to work with."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Get to know the environment and culture. Understand not on what are your possible growth paths in general but what the hiring manager has in mind for this position or a person with your skills."
What don't you like about working at ForRent.com?
"Does not harbor a very creative environment and slow to make business decisions. Little integration and collaboration between business units and like minded people."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Gather more feedback from the ones 'in the trenches' and look for employee buy-in on ideas. Lots of creative talent in the building that is going under-utilized."
