"Foot Locker, Inc. is the proving grounds for LEADERS!"

What do you like about working at Foot Locker?

"Foot Locker, Inc. is the proving grounds for LEADERS! If you are passionate about your work and have a high energy level, show your personal and professional best daily... this is a perfect match for you."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Treat the interview as if you were going into the arena with a professional athlete...do some stretching exercises, be prepared (do your research and homework) and if you feel the energy & momentum of the athletic footwear and apparel business beating with your pulse...tell yourself this is ME. I can WIN this interview. And you will, I assure you."

What don't you like about working at Foot Locker?

"The only thing I did not like was the view...I wish I had the North - West side of the building like the other folks did (which overlooked Macy's and Herald Square) In other words...There is nothing I didn't like about working at Foot Locker, Inc. It is the GREATEST company around."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The upper management and officers of the company are some of the best talent I have evr been associated with. The only suggestion I can think of is in regards to the recessionary times kind of marketplace positioning the company should really have in their sites. Exclusivity is great as their overarching mission and target, but diversification of Brand Tier Levels with a wide mix of price points can attract potential consumers to cross the lease line to purchase add - on items first (as a reverse strategy to the traditional add-on business). People are holding on to their greenbacks so you have to loosen them up with a wider mix to entice them in. The private label business is fine, but additional tier levels of Branded S2 / Department 16 accessories and special promo items work well in a lack luster economy."
