"The benefits package, as others have stated, is sparce and below industry standard, even for FT permanent employees at FM HQ. No extra days off given to enjoy the holidays, even early closure days are limited to the time frame where most employees get off anyways. "Celebrations" of any kind are presented with attitude from management, and employees are made to feel bad about any form of non-work-related enjoyment. Even the most recent holiday party was scheduled mid-work day so employees were required to go back to work after a brief intermision. When interviewed recruiters will tell you that there are annual raises, this is not true. Holiday "bonuses", if given, come after the holidays, because management doesnt seem to realize that most people would best use them beforehand. Employee satisfaction and concerns regarding retention are non-existent. Management is self-absorbed and employs childish measures when met with any sort of resistance. Job roles are frequently edited and changed. Extra duties are piled on at random with no adjustment in compensation, weekend work can be expected-again with no adjustment in compensation. Current employees walk on eggshells around the office, former AND current employees are bad mouthed by upper management to other employees in a disgusting display of unprofessionalism and grade school gossip. Promises are made regarding additional compensation that never comes into fruition. Certain employees are treated with favor, while others are degraded. There is a complete absence of trust within the organization. It is widely known that upper management does not trust its staff, and the residual effects from the absence of trust is resentment. Schedules are changed without notice. Bereavement leave is unpaid. The selfish attitude by upper management has trickled into every aspect of the day to day operations at HQ."
"I worked with FM Talent for several months to find an opportunity to consult with an organization. FM Talent is top-notch sourcing firm with great connections in the metropolitan DC area. The compensation structure was more than fair and the business owners, management team, and employees all possess extreme professionalism. It became more than apparent that their goal is to create a win-win and find an employee who can fill the clients' needs while fulfilling the employees' expectations."
