"Overall, a great place to work. The benefits are awesome. Many of the processes are manual, not much automation. Many groups are very compartmentalized. Communication between supervisor and employee is very limited."

"I've worked for FLIR for 5 years, and am proud of the products they make. The company needs to work on streamlining products (too many) and adhering to toll-gates for product launches."

"Steve Jobs said, " You hire good people not so you can tell them what to do, but so they can tell us what to do." This never happened at FLIR. This is classic senior leadership with blinders on about how business actually works. It's very sad."

"This company is in a CEO transition. Before it was very nice and very competitive. Now, it has let go many entire engineering sites with no real provision for existing product support or future product development. Morale is very low and the future looks bleak. Many remaining engineers have left for greener pastures."

"Poor environment, management will not listen to the advice of the professionals they hire, costing a considerable amount of money and time. This has also delayed programs and caused cost overruns that were avoidable."
