"I haven't liked many of the decisions that Adobe has made in the past years, especially with their Flex debacle. I hope very much that Flash can survive its challenges and remain an industry standard because there is nothing that currently matches it, and nothing shows any sign of surpassing it's capabilities any time soon."

"Flash is a wonderful animation tool and scripting platform, it allows developers to easily create interactive for use by others and even lay the groundwork for XML support, which can be taken advantage by other designers and even non designers. Adobe's lack of support, at least in development, has shown that Flash as an app kit is going to no longer be viable, though as an animation platform it is still amazingly powerful. Game Dev platforms are quickly taking Flash's place in the App market."
"I love the work and the atmosphere involved. I just feel at home when working in game development. I can't say there is anything I hate, but I do dislike the inconsistency of compensation. It is hard to pay all your bills when you are constantly looking for new work."
"I love to design and animate in Flash. It's a great program with lots of functionality that can really enhance a website experience or a presentation.I dislike ActionScript 3 (Flash's programming language), which has always been a severe stumbling block for me and seems very evasive every time I try to make an attempt to learn it. Very few resources exist for beginners, often leaving me lost and confused with it."

"Friendly bunch of guys that produced products that they sold for profit. There was no investor control, they operate in the black."

"Be good at what you do, and be prepared to live on very little income for the industry standards."

"The pay wasn't much. The work was just as demanding as any other IT company that would pay many times more, but it can be worth it to work there for the location and relaxed environment."

"Find ways to increase your pay and benefits for your employees."

"There were a few people who were highly intelligent and creative that made working at RAPP tolerable"

"If you can go somewhere else. There is no joy here."

"The level of creative was mundane and the resistance from C-suite executives was also disconcerting."

"Try to do at least mediocre work and be supportive of people who try to raise the bar."

"Only sometimes it felt that there were egos involved in making creative/technical decisions than plain logic."
